The 200-hour, Utility Line Clearance Arborist Pre-Apprentice course will introduce you to best practices in Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) to help further reduce the risk of trees contacting power lines, providing for a reliable and safe power distribution system.
Instructed by leading professionals in utility vegetation management, this comprehensive training will take you through the knowledge and skills needed to perform as an efficient and safe member of a tree care crew working near utility distribution lines. Courses are designed to enhance the understanding and application of safety, integrated vegetation management, tree identification, tree biology, proper pruning techniques, safe equipment operations, tree climbing techniques and customer service.
